I stayed at site 26. The site has water and electric hook up, dump station, shade, level, easy access, cell service, table, restrooms, pet friendly and hiking.

No discounts, so the site rate was $30/night.

LOVED hiking at this State Park! The sites are back in, but plenty of room at the site to manage it myself. It was long enough to stay hitched - BONUS!

The park is pretty busy for this early in the season. LOTS of kids! And they were LOUD! Guess you get that at campgrounds on the weekends.

Trip totals: 7 days, 1896 miles, $217 camp site fees, $685.77 gas.

I'm a transplant to the state of Texas from Florida. I LOVE Texas! (But I do miss the beach).

My favorite hobbies are traveling with my guy to new places and experiencing all that life has to offer.

I have a little obsession with essential oils. They are my first go to when I don't feel well or something smells funny. I choose to avoid chemicals when possible, so making my own soaps, lip balms and salves makes me happy!
