I stayed at site 17. The site has water and electric hook up, level, WiFi, easy access, cell service, table, clean showers, restrooms, pool, pet friendly and hilltop views.

Property owner gave Good Sam discount, so our site rate was $36/night instead of $40.

What an amazing location for sunsets! I picked the right side of the park. The other side, where the sunrise would be visible, is where the town is, so this side of the park is much more picturesque.

I almost missed the beautiful sunset tonight! Check in was easy and SUPER friendly! LONG 7 hour drive at 65mph max and 3 stops for gas and restroom breaks.

I arrived at the campground a little after 5pm and after setting up quickly, went to rustle up some grub. I were originally going to a Chinese fusion food truck, but it wasn't there so I ended up at Papito's Mexican. The fish plate that the waitress raved about was meh. Should have known at a Texas Mexican joint. LOL! Indio beer from Mexico wasn't great either.

The panoramic views and beautiful sunset made me forget all about the dining experience.

I'm a transplant to the state of Texas from Florida. I LOVE Texas! (But I do miss the beach).

My favorite hobbies are traveling with my guy to new places and experiencing all that life has to offer.

I have a little obsession with essential oils. They are my first go to when I don't feel well or something smells funny. I choose to avoid chemicals when possible, so making my own soaps, lip balms and salves makes me happy!
