Stayed at site 480. The site has electric hook up, dump station, shade, level, easy access, cell service, fire pit, table, clean showers, restrooms, pet friendly and water access.

No discounts, so the site rate was $45/night.

This site ended up being close to a busy road. The road was MUCH busier than I expected it to be. Other than that, it wasn't too bad, although they did not have enough showers to accommodate the need.

The day started with an hour long drive to have breakfast with a relative that I haven't seen in FOREVER, after a nice sun rise on Lake Erie.I stopped at Fort Gratiot Lighthouse and discovered that there is a light ship nearby so I went to see it and get some pics. There aren't many light ships left these days, so that was an unexpected treat! And I got a stamp for it! WIN/WIN!!! On the way to the campground I saw my first otter dam. At the campground, I set up and then went to a local brewery for beer and snacks then back to the camper for the night. My ankles are swelling from riding in the car šŸ˜”.

I'm a transplant to the state of Texas from Florida. I LOVE Texas! (But I do miss the beach).

My favorite hobbies are traveling with my guy to new places and experiencing all that life has to offer.

I have a little obsession with essential oils. They are my first go to when I don't feel well or something smells funny. I choose to avoid chemicals when possible, so making my own soaps, lip balms and salves makes me happy!
