9.16.21 lake Catherine state park

I stayed at site 480. The site has water and electric hook up, dump station, shade, level, easy access, cell service, dock, and water access.

No discounts, so the site rate was $25.31/night.

Today was mostly a day of driving. I stopped for fried pies and gas on my way to the Hot Springs area. I stopped at a cool mill in Little Rock and also some cool bridges. I was craving Chinese food, but the place I found was downtown without good parking, especially for the camper, so I headed for the campsite. No Chinese food in this area either, so I looked for breweries instead. I found a brewery with brats so I headed that way! After traveling down some sketchy back roads, I found myself at a private residence with shipping containers turned into a brewery. Brad, the owner, had to move his minivan so I could turn around with the pop up and park! He welcomed me, poured some beers, made some local brats and entertained me with his story. What a happy accident! I arrived at the campsite to find that some idiot (we'll call him an idiot here, although what he was started with an A and ended with an E) set up in my campsite. He was NOT happy about moving, but knew he didn't have choice, especially after I called the Ranger. I don't blame him for trying to commandeer our site... it is AMAZING!!! I LOVE it! I even have my own dock!

I'm finally looking forward to being home...
