Stayed at site A01. The site has electric hook up, shade, level, easy access, cell service, fire pit, restrooms and is pet friendly.

No discounts, so the site rate was $34.40/night.

Started today relaxing by the water with a coffee and Jesus. Packed up the PUP and left it to head to Mammoth Cave National Park. The tour was scheduled 2 days ago online. I booked the disabled tour to avoid all the stairs... BIG MISTAKE! I did have to purchase a pin and hat and explore the cace entrance and the headstone of Stephen Bishop (who I learned about on the tour). After that... lots of DRIVING! I stopped in Cincinnati for a Hard Rock pin. I thought about chickening out and getting a hotel room for the night instead of staying at a campground, but decided to go for it and continue to the campground. I backed into the site in the TOTAL dark! It was at the park entrance, no traffic and across from an empty spot... SCORE! Another great adventure!

I'm a transplant to the state of Texas from Florida. I LOVE Texas! (But I do miss the beach).

My favorite hobbies are traveling with my guy to new places and experiencing all that life has to offer.

I have a little obsession with essential oils. They are my first go to when I don't feel well or something smells funny. I choose to avoid chemicals when possible, so making my own soaps, lip balms and salves makes me happy!
